Abstract Submission
At time of abstract submission, the Presenting Authors express their preference between a short talk and poster presentation.
Short talks and Poster presentations
The Scientific Committee will review all abstracts and extend invitations to selected Authors for presenting their work as a Short Talk.
There will be max. 10 slots for Short Talks. Their duration will be exactly 10 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A discussion.
The Authors not selected for a Short Talk, will be asked to give a Poster presentation.
Posters on paper will be presented for the 3 days of the symposium. Poster size will be available soon!
Acceptance of Abstracts
Authors will be notified of acceptance of their abstract and the type of presentation (Poster or Oral) by May 15th 2025.
Registration requirement for poster/oral presentations and abstract publication
The Presenting Author is required to attend the symposium in person to present the poster/oral talk. If the Presenting Author is unable to come in person, a co-author must assume the responsibilities of the presenting author and give the presentation in person. The Presenting Author or alternative presenter is required to register either as a full-conference or one-day attendee for the symposium by the Presenting Author Registration Deadline (30 June, 2025), or the organizers will withdraw the abstract. Abstracts that are withdrawn for any reason, including the author no show, will not be published in the abstract book.
5-Minute Project Contest
(ONLY for Master Students, PhD Students and Post-Docs)
9 contributions from the future/young generation of scientists will be selected for a super-short oral presentation.
The 5-Minute Project Contest is sponsored by A.It.U.N. (AAPS Italian University Network Student Chapter) and challenges to present researchers in a concise and engaging format.
The winner of the 5-Minute Project Contest receives an award and prize (💵).
5-Minute Project Contest Rules:
Presentations are limited to 5 minutes maximum.
Presentations are to be spoken word (e.g. no poems, raps or songs).
A single static PowerPoint slide is permitted. No slide transitions, animations or movement) and is to be presented from the beginning of the oration.
No additional electronic media (e.g. sound and video files) are permitted.
The decision of the adjudicating panel is final.
